| The Second Annual Kansas City Catfish Pro-Am Tournament will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,Saturday, May 7, 2011 on the Missouri & Kansas Rivers located at Kaw Point in Kansas City, KS. This event will pair seasoned River Catfish Anglers with anyone that has an interest in catfishing and safe navigation of the river waterways in the Kansas City area. This event will be in a fun, casual tournament format. This will be a great way to learn some unique tips & tricks and gain a vast array of knowledge. The boat captain will provide all rods, reels, bait & tackle. The participant will be randomly teamed up with a boat owner after all spots have been filled. The participant will need to provide clothing appropriate for the weather, a current fishing license, food & drink, and don't forget your camera. The entry fee for this event will be $100 per person and a couple boats will be able to accommodate groups of two (2). This will not be a prize money event. Top place finishers will receive awards and all participants will receive sponsorship prizes. Sign-ups will be on a first come, first served basis.
